Review (positive): 4500 K (claimed) pure white LED bulbs in 38 mm festoon format, from China off eBay. This design has 3 5050 SMDs firing in one direction and has a crude optical lens which further tightens the projected beam.
Most cheap "white" LEDs are either "warm" which typically means 3000-3300 Kelvin (yellow), or "cool" which typically means 6000-6500 K (blue). These bulbs are supposed to be a purer white so should look a lot better in use the alternatives.
38 mm filament festoons are typically 5 W (I incorrectly state 10 W in the video), so are these as bright or brighter?
