Part 5 on this little DSB tranceiver . It took me 5 times installing and
uninstalling the WSJT-X Program before I got it to working with the
QRP GUYS DSB tranceiver . The first station worked with this peanut whistle tranceiver board was N5SDR Jeff in Texas I was excited to say the least . Note when you go to settings in the program there is a place to select the rig or radio you are using . MY QRP GUYS tranceiver works just fine with NOTHING selected for a Rig the box has
"NONE" in it . The program worked right off with the defaults that came up .
All I needed to set was audio level out from the computer and the Audio pot on the board labelled V2 . Your computer setup may be different and require different setting etc. I am sure there are other things I will want to change in the program as I go along making contacts . I do need to learn a lot more about Operating FT8 before I will be comfortable doing so . The levels I set for this QRP tranceiver were not set for maximum output it says in the instructions in the assembly manual not to adjust the levels for maximum output or the transmitter will be driven into distortion so the output was set for a nice clean looking waveform on the scope with the #47 bulb about 3/4 of full brilliance . I am very happy with this project now to work some DX with it... 73 Bob
