Qidi Plus 4 First Thoughts and First Print in Qidi Odourless ABS.
Extremely well packed and arrived undamaged.
Although it was £60 more from Amazon I thought a simpler, quicker returns process was worth the money. I also paid a small amount for the 3 year Amazon warranty.
Appears well built and was very well setup from the factory.
No manual bed tramming was required based on the initial prints, other may find it is required!
There is a network socket on the back.
Updates were found and easily installed.
The Qidi slicer and Qidi Link software works perfectly.
The onboard camera feed FPS is disappointing.
The first print, despite a glue stick, does seem to have lifted enough in one area to lose the bed pattern but doesn't seem to be warped.
The top surface also looks slightly off but pretty good.
The Qidi odourless ABS says 100 degs C for the bed temp but strangely the Qidi slicer sets it at 90 degs C
Skip to 14:50 for the print results.
I'm interested in two things, how that section of print must have lifted so the bed pattern isn't present but the print isn't discernibly warped and the quality of the top surface with those fine line gaps. Any thoughts?
Overall I am very pleased so far.
