Jens Currie, Pacific Whale Foundation, Chief Scientist 7:21-7:37 “The data we’ve collected here, we hope to move forward with the University of Hawaiʻi and the Marine Mammal Research Program to collaboratively tackle some questions we can now answer using drone technology to determine the body condition of various populations and species.” Lars Bejder, UH Marine Mammal Research Program, Director 4:56-5:10 “This new approach opens up doors to quantify these changes in body condition, in response to not only human activity, but also larger climatic changes that the environment is posing towards these animals.”
