I shot this last nigh. The Aurora was barely visible to the naked eye. The PXW-FX9 did an amazing job capturing it. The camera was set to S-Cinetone, High Base ISO and 6400 ISO. Shooting with a 32 frame slow shutter, so about a 1.3 second exposure and interval record 1 frame every 2 seconds. This is the result straight from the camera. I've never seen a video camera capture stars like this with so little noise. I have not done any additional noise reduction. This camera makes shooting the Aurora incredibly easy! Lens was a Sigma 20mm Art f1.4.
