Welcome back to another Let's Play episode of Dragon Age: Origins! In this massive 2-hour and 46-minute session, we are taking on the entire Tower of Ishal from the beginning and pushing our way into Lothering.
This time, I changed my strategy completely. Instead of using immortality, I used the developer console to level the entire party up to Level 25—the max for this area. I spent 43 points on Strength so my main character Elissa could finally equip that heavy, dark, evil-looking Dragonbone armor set, putting the rest of her points into Health while leaving my companions on auto-management.
Because we weren't immortal, the combat was a real tactical challenge! We actually died once inside the tower, but we beat the darkspawn ambush on our next try by carefully pulling a few enemies at a time.
After completing the tower, surviving the betrayal, and being rescued by Flemeth, Morrigan officially joined the team. From there, we ventured into the first village of Lothering. I took my time exploring, dealing with the highway bandits at the entrance, and talking to the citizens outside of the Chantry. The episode ends right next to the village bridge after speaking with some Dalish Elves.
I also spent a good chunk of the video trying to mod the game. I fired up the Vortex Launcher to try and install the "Dog Secondary Companion" mod, but the game refused to launch through it. Then, I tried installing a new look for Leliana and Morrigan, which immediately gave them those infamous purple glitched faces.
I was talking and commentary was running through the entire 2 hours and 46 minutes of this journey. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more RPG adventures!
