Welcome to a massive, custom-built AI simulation in Sid Meier’s Civilization III, featuring a deep-dive into the world of Final Fantasy IX.
I have downloaded this map of Gaia and changed it from an empty map with all the terrain placed out but without cities, factions or units, and imported it to the Final Fantasy Mod, hand-placing every city, starting unit, and faction to ensure a lore-accurate (and chaotic) starting point. We are using a specialized Final Fantasy mod, supplemented with custom sprites to bring these iconic factions to life.
The Factions:
Alexandria: Led by Queen Garnet (Dagger), featuring General Beatrix as a hero unit, though the faction follows the aggressive path of Queen Brahne.
Lindblum: Led by Regent Cid, holding the line against the Alexandrian warmachine.
The Dwarves: Utilizing Orc and Goblin sprites for a grittier, more fitting look within the Civ III engine.
