In this video I give a progress report as to how my fountain pens and inks have been working out this month! We look at the ink tiles, and writing samples in my 68 gsm Tomoe River Paper A5 notebook (old stock by Bond Travel Gear now Lochby). I have an exciting new custom pen to write with and show you today too! Off topic updates in the library include books to be read, medical application paperwork, weather, Thanksgiving plans, cleaning (or not cleaning) confessions and we return to the pen desk to do a purple comparison panel at the very end. It's a busy time and I've also been working to regain an even keel and some positivity recently.
1. Benu Euphoria Pink Guava B with Emerald of Chivor 1670 shimmer ink. Pen was gifted by anonymous viewer/pen friend ... ink purchased with Appelboom gift card from an anonymous pen friend.2. Benu Briolette Luminous Amber B with Pilot Horsetail Brown. Pen gifted by anonymous viewer/pen friend.3. Lamy Safari Charcoal EF with Platinum Carbon Black (ink sample from pen friend MMD).4. Lamy Safari Terra Red B with Robert Oster Antelope Canyon (ink sample from pen friend KS and bottle of same from pen friend MB I think)5. Opus 88 Koloro Red B with Ferris Wheel Press Algonquin Maple (pen gifted by pen friend MB).6. Jinhao 80 Lamy Calligraphy nib (gold clip/trim) with Lamy Dark Lilac 2016 LE ink (sample from pen friends KS and MW.)7. Moonman P136 M piston filler blue with Conway Stewart Tamar (pen gifted by pen friend MS and ink sample from pen friend MB).
8. TWSBI Eco Jade B with Monteverde Olivine (ink sample from pen friend SV).
