Seagulls Gather | Princess Of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs Book Review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
My review Edgar Rice Burroughs' Princess Of Mars - the first book in the John Carter series. This book was hugely influential and insprired the work of Robert Heinlein and Ray Bradbury to name just a few.
Carter is inexplicably transported to Mars and finds a drying world that is the scene of battles between green and red Martians. The Red Martian princess, Dejah Thoris, has been captured and only Carter can rescue her and get her safely back to her own kind.

My books, the British sci-fi comedy Professor Lovecraft, are now available on Amazon here: cutt.ly/W9GeO37
