This video shows you what vapor detonation, aka surging, looks like in twin burnered stoves and provides a simple solution by using a "surge restrictor" of a roll of brass mesh. Don't use steel or aluminum mesh for this repair. Fitting a roll of brass mesh into the fuel line or the burner base of the burners will arrest any surging along the fuel line and into the tank due to vapor detonation (the rapid production of fuel vapor) in an unrestricted fuel path.
