Here's a video responding to some requests about demos of the BernieDawg Minicap on the Primus #71 vintage backpacking stove. The stove in the video is one of my 1946 Primus #71's. It comes with a nifty tin box that functions as a very effective windshield. In the video, I show the stove first with the standard flame plate. Then, I swap to the Minicap. I do a demonstration of how "underburn" can be achieved and remedied. I show the stove operating with a kettle on in both roarer and silent modes.
