We had booked to have afternoon tea at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom as a surprise for Poppy and instead of a super early start we decided to parkrun on the way to Blackpool. I picked Preston parkrun just because it was on route... I had no idea of the beauty that was in store!

On paper this is a three lap city park parkrun. Doesn't sound like too much to write home about but wow, just wow! I was absolutely blown away by just how stunning this parkrun is! There is one tough hill but the rest is flat, or downhill, and it's just an awesome run. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A great parkrun, possibly Top Ten! Have a visit and judge for yourselves.
