I headed to Pontefract parkrun to meet up with my parkrun friend, and fellow p-index enthusiast, Steve to increase our p-index. One more parkrun at Ponte took me to a p-index of 14 and Steve to a p-index of 13. I'm so happy that Ponte parkrun is one of my p-index runs as I love it at Pontefract racecourse, and this time was even better than usual!
There were so many tiny, cute ducklings here and they were swimming along beside us which was so adorable! They were cheeping away and we really struggled to concentrate on parkrun as we just wanted to watch these tiny balls of fluff dart about the lake.
We managed to tear ourselves away from the ducklings and register our parkrun result so I finally achieved p-index 14! This p-index challenge just gets harder and harder! The plan is to get to p-15 and then maybe look for another challenge.
Huge thanks to the team at Pontefract parkrun for a wonderful morning. Roll on Leeds Marathon which feels like it is just around the corner!
