A game where i experiment with the 09 as my starting plant, inspired by some of mastaba's recent games. Would only try this if 03/04/05 were bought first!
Screwed up the build, alas. Went where i seemed to have the most open space, but should've built in Selas's territory instead; i briefly discuss the better build at the end of this game. All those Step 1 cities combined with the 26 made this an easy game for Selas.
This game really shows the importance of having some cheaper cities among your first few - i was restricted in my bidding for 18 & 26 because of my builds all being so expensive, and Stein had the same problem to a lesser extent (which cost him the 26 vs. Selas).
