With Team Magma's emblem in hand, Brendan returns to the Jagged Pass, where one of Team Magma's goons was standing in front of a strange boulder formation. The Magma Emblem then activates, revealing the entrance to their hideout, which Brendan then enters, aiming to prevent Maxie from bringing about calamity by awakening Groudon!
Magma Admin Tabitha:
Maxie's right-hand Admin stands guard, just before Brendan is able to reach his Leader.
Numel:
One of the two Numel that Tabitha used looks to have grown a bit tougher, and it now knows Tackle, Ember, Magnitude, and Focus Energy.
Mightyena:
The Poochyena that was used on Mt. Chimney has since evolved into a Mightyena, which is capable of using Bite, Odor Sleuth, Roar, and Swagger.
Zubat:
This Pokémon is now no longer Tabitha's last resort, but it still appears tricky, with Astonish, Bite, Wing Attack, and Confuse Ray.
Camerupt:
Tabitha's second Numel looks to have evolved as well, making it bulkier than before. It knows Rock Slide, Amnesia, Focus Energy, and Take Down.
Magma Leader Maxie:
With the Blue Orb in his possession, Maxie moves to awaken the Continent Pokémon, Groudon, from its slumber! But upon its awakening, it then takes off for parts unknown...! Having been set back, Team Magma's Leader sets his sights on Brendan, who he quickly assumes to be responsible for Groudon's untimely departure!
Mightyena:
This Pokémon looks intimidating as ever, and knows Roar, Swagger, Scary Face, and Take Down.
Crobat:
Maxie's Golbat has since evolved into a Crobat, which is much faster than it was before. It is also capable of using Bite, Wing Attack, Confuse Ray, and Air Cutter.
Camerupt:
The Volcano Pokémon, like before, is Maxie's ace in the hole. It has Take Down, Amnesia, Rock Slide, and Earthquake in its arsenal.
