At long last, Kris, Susie, and Ralsei have found the Roaring Knight within the 3rd Sanctuary! Susie fires Rude Buster at it, but it evades her at every turn. She then attempts to provoke it by claiming that it cannot beat them in the Light World, which she believes it to be why it's always running away... But this statement seems to make the Knight laugh madly at her... Then, readying its blade (and despite a brief protest from Ralsei), it creates another Dark Fountain immediately before them, which quickly hardens and hatches into a monstrous Titan...!! The heroes then move to climb onto the shell that the beast is encased inside of, with knowledge that it won't attack itself... Midway through their climb, the Lightners are ambushed by a duo of Titan Spawns! Kris is able to purify them with the light from their SOUL, allowing the trio to start climbing again. Eventually, they reach a rather high point in the area, where they prepare to combat the Titan itself, which managed to hatch as they were moving about... To deal more damage, light must be used to destroy the shield guarding its face... After a while, the Titan appears to destabilize from the damages it sustained, but then, the wing-like appendages surrounding its face begin to flap closed, allowing it to regenerate...! Things appear to be hopeless at this point... That is, until a large hammer strikes the facial shield, causing it to crack up! Gerson's spirit has returned, happy to lend the heroes a helping hand! With his presence, a new ACT opens up, allowing for Kris to have him and Susie use a Dual Buster attack, causing the facial shield of the Titan to shatter again! After a second Dual Buster, Susie gets an idea... Grabbing Kris, she then lunges into the Titan's face... Inside, the SOUL glows brightly, and its light causes the Titan to cease to be! With the danger averted, Susie begins to ask Kris about their SOUL, but cuts herself off, remembering the Old Man. Wanting to talk to him, Susie moves ahead... When Ralsei comes to check on Kris, he notices that Susie is not with them, and, fearing the worst, rushes off to prevent a possible disaster...! In the next room, another set of tapestries depicting the 'Last Prophecy' brought up in the 2nd Sanctuary is shown, but Susie shatters the one that explains how to save the worlds, leaving Ralsei stammering in fear... Susie, meanwhile, laughs, believing that they will be able to prevent whatever the Dark Prince fears from coming to pass... After she heads for the Fountain, Ralsei is left in a bit of disbelief, completely bewildered at how kind Susie has become since their first adventure together... But through Kris's comfort, appears to want to believe in her hope...
