After delivering the Letter to Steven in the Granite Cave, Brendan decides to train up his Pokémon for his next challenge: taking on the Dewford Gym! The Gym is completely pitch-black upon entry, and according to the guide, will only get brighter if he battles every Trainer. Will he manage to reach the Gym Leader at the end?

The first Trainer is a Battle Girl. Much like the Gym Leader, she appears to specialize in Fighting-type Pokémon.
