Pac-Man continues to wander this dark era of Pac-Land, having previously beaten the Poisonous Killer Frog within the Poison Meadows. Next, he enters the Windy Forest, where harsh winds blow through the treetops. At the end, he encounters another ghost sent by Spooky to eliminate him!
Typhoon Owl Mecha:
A second rogue ghost has arrived, piloting an Owl Mecha much like the one that Inky used to fight Pac-Man in the Tree Tops! This robot's attacks are similar to those used by the original Owl Mecha, but this one has the added ability to blow fierce winds at Pac-Man when it fires its feather onslaughts. However, its weakness of being vulnerable when reloading remains the same. After taking three Flip Kicks to the head, the enhanced Owl Mecha loses its goggles, leaving the rogue ghost to retreat for a moment, before returning with upgrades to the robot: larger wings, sharper feathers, searchlight eyes (which, like the original Owl Mecha, allow this one to fire a laser from its beak if Pac-Man is caught in their gaze for too long), and the ability to summon a trio of typhoons to whirl around the battlefield! Its attack pattern is still nearly the same as the original, but with the ability to blow winds from its wings. Nonetheless, its weak point still remains the same, but for added trickery, it can look away from Pac-Man as it reloads its feathers, making it harder to recover from potential pitfalls after delivering Flip Kicks! Like before, it takes three more Flip Kicks to defeat the Typhoon Owl Mecha and claim victory.
