With the perpetrators in Team Magma having arrived within the sweltering Mt. Chimney, they are ready to make plans to awaken something that'll aid them in their goal of expanding the world's land mass... Brendan isn't going to let that happen, and so, confronts them all in battle, while a majority of the other goons are locked in combat with Team Aqua!



Magma Admin Tabitha:
This man was met at Meteor Falls, where he and his underling stole the Meteorite from Professor Cozmo. He has already delivered the item to his boss, who he aims to protect through battle!

Numel:
The Hump Pokémon is Tabitha's greeting. This fiery challenger knows Growl, Ember, and Tackle.

Zubat:
Much like some of Team Aqua's goons, Tabitha uses a Zubat. This one can use Supersonic, Astonish, Bite, and Wing Attack.

Poochyena:
This next Pokémon is another familiar sight, having been used by some of Team Aqua's Grunts. It is capable of using Howl, Sand-Attack, Bite, and Odor Sleuth.

Numel:
Tabitha's last resort Pokémon is a second Numel. This one appears to be stronger than the first one, and has Growl, Tackle, Ember, and Magnitude in its arsenal.



Magma Leader Maxie:
The Leader of Team Magma stands at the edge of Mt. Chimney, where he aims to use the Meteorite's power to awaken something that sleeps deep within the mountain... He is taken aback by Brendan, who had previously interfered in his rival, Archie's goals for the Devon Parts. Not wanting to meet the same fate, Maxie aims to subdue the intruder in battle!

Mightyena:
Maxie's Pokémon are more formidable than any of his underlings'. His usage of Mightyena, the evolved form of Poochyena, makes that clear. This Pokémon knows Sand-Attack, Bite, Odor Sleuth, and Roar.

Golbat:
This Pokémon also looks to be a tricky one. It can use Supersonic, Astonish, Bite, and Wing Attack.

Camerupt:
The evolved form of Numel is Maxie's ace in the hole. It has Tackle, Focus Energy, Ember, and Magnitude in its arsenal.
