If you boot up the game after the credits your Arceus Phone will start beeping, and you're given one goal. Seek out all Pokémon.
This is the long-term goal of the postgame, there's a handful of smaller goals on the way to that first. Thankfully Pokémon that traditionally require trading to evole can be evolved by using either the Linking Cord item, or the item they hold whilst being traded.
I start by heading for the Alpha Alakazam which eluded me a few times and nabbing it and the nearby Wisp. I defeat it and find another Wisp on the way back to checking I realise at this point, to respawn Alphas you need to leave the region, so do so and catch it next time.
I take on a few requests and then am told from Volo about hunting for myths and legends. Medi will hand you the Gracidea Flower, which you can take to a nearby withered area to rejuvinate it and spawn in Shaymin, who proves easy to capture. Next up, Mai gives you a mission to investigate an anomaly on the island in the SW and it turns out to be Hisuian Zorua.
We report our findings back to Cyllene and learn of a new phenomenon called a Massive Mass Outbreak.
On the way out I decide to have a battle with Ress, Zisu's disciple for a quick request, and then speak with Mai about the Massive Mass Outbreaks which essentially mean each of the areas have more of the Pokémon. This makes it goof for research and quickly cpaturing a few of those Pokémon.
Back in Obsidian Fieldlands I take on Yeo's request, which involves maxing out Kricketot's Research. I'll do this slowly, and later. I wrap up Gully's request in Coronet Highlands and smash the rocks near the end of the request to find Unown.
Senki's request is next and we have to follow his Spheal as it rolls along, obtaining a neabry Wisp on the way.
After his request I find a Space-Time Distortion and catch a Hisuian Decidueye, and a Bastiodon. A Jolteon annoyingly knocks itself out with recoil and the part ends after the distortion.
