Pointed Dripstone looks like it is going to be a useful block with the abilty to create lava source blocks (and water), and the use in mob killing. It is not clear how easy it will be to farm legitimately, but at least in this snapshot there are a two different dupes that can get you a lot in a hurry. The first method will likely be patched by the full release, but the second method has a good chance not being fixed. That first method will get you 72,000 per hour fully automatically, with the second being around 18,000 per hour AFK.
