Plastic Free July is an opportunity to reevaluate how plastic products affect our environment. Joni, a Sr. sea turtle rehabilitation specialist at CMA shares how trash, fishing line and other plastic debris can negatively impact our wildlife.
What can you do to help sea turtles, wildlife, and our ecosystems?
- dispose of all trash properly
- reduce the use of single-use plastic, and opt for reusable items instead
- recycle when possible
