Welcoming new manatees into our care takes tremendous teamwork and planning! From preparing the habitat to safely transporting and introducing them to their new home, every step is a coordinated effort between CMA teams and our partners. Go behind the scenes to see how we successfully welcomed these three new manatees into the Dr. James “Buddy” Powell Manatee Rehabilitation Center!

The manatees are currently acclimating and won’t be visible to guests just yet while our experts monitor their progress. Stay tuned for updates on their journey and when you can see them here at CMA!
