The Pioneer SPHERA, model name DMH-WT8000NEX, brings Dolby Atmos spatial audio through Apple CarPlay to any car, even if it has only four speakers. The receiver features an autotuning system, and Pioneer includes a calibration mic to help tune and tailor the sound for your particular vehicle's interior.

Pioneer's SPHERA technology works a bit like traditional time alignment, which adjusts the timing of each speaker to reach your ears at the same time and creates a wide stereo sound stage. Pioneer takes that concept to another level: the sound stage is over your head and all around you. The SPHERA can decode Dolby Atmos material, and it also offers a virtual mode of its own called Stereo Spatial Audio.
And of course, the SPHERA is also a top-notch Pioneer head unit, with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a full suite of tone controls, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
