The Aqua One / SunSun 1400 would be the nearest equivalent filter.
APS 1400EF (no UV, on Amazon): geni.us/5rKfu
APS 1400EF+ (with 9W UV, on Amazon): geni.us/vQjl

The AQQA 150 canister filter is made well enough but is probably £10-£15 too expensive to compete against the similar filters from Aqua One / SunSun. Also, it holds less media than the size of the filter would suggest.
The foam layout is backwards and unbelievably on the Amazon page there is a picture showing how the water flows through the filter which is entirely wrong - how can filter manufacturers get something so simple so wrong?
However, it can easily be altered to make it more efficient by following the simple instructions in this video.
In this video I show the correct set up using only what is included at time of purchase then another set up to show how to maximize the efficiency of the AQQA 150 filter.
It's a long video so feel free to skip to sections of interest - time stamps below.

00:00 Intro and filter information
01:33 Initial impressions
02:39 Looking inside the filter
04:27 How the filter comes set up
06:15 Correct set up (using what with the filter)
09:05 Upgrading the filter to be more efficient
14:25 Notes on gel filter starter balls
14:49 Notes on nitrate filters
15:59 Post filter upgrade information
17:05 Pros and cons of the AQQA 150
20:16 Notes on full cycle filtration, conditioners, contact details and outro

*As long as you use a normal water dechlorinator (e.g. API Stress Coat) which simply makes water safe for life and not a water conditioner which actively starves bacteria by locking up the food it needs or / and adversely affecting the bacterial binary fission process (e.g. Seachem Prime) then you can achieve a full cycle in any tank with the correct filtration, sized properly and set up with full filtration as the goal.*

My website has a nation of useful information including answers to specific questions to bring clarity to much of the online nonsense and fake 'science' (scientism) about filtration here: filterpro.co.uk/qa-24-w.asp
