Pie Week is graced by none other than Stacey Mei Yan Fong! She’s the creator of the 50 Pies, 50 States Project—a series of US state-themed pies, which includes a pie in the likeness of Dolly Parton—and a new cookbook of the same name. And she is, of course, known for genre-bending pies, so we asked to see what she could pull off with a few pantry staples. She presented us with nut butter and jam hand pies, a perfect low-effort use for leftover pie dough on the morning after Thanksgiving morning.
