If you’re like me, I’m sure you’ve been thinking A LOT about AI (artificial intelligence) lately and how it’s impacting our industry.
As you’ve seen in some of my other videos (youtu.be/d0SQ-GfpWJo, youtu.be/9a5zleO_xrA, youtu.be/JaU-hndfOcI) I’ve been using it in conjunction with my team lately mainly as a means of inspiration, testing out how we can best utilize it.
So far it’s help to inspire some great headpieces, makeup and other concepts. I’m definitely interested in seeing where the future of AI takes us.
For this image I called on my good friend Lory Sun who creates amazing headpieces. We used Mid Journey (ai software) as a means of inspiration for her to create this amazing otherworldly headpiece.

1) Profoto d2 w/ 5 degree grid
2) 1x4’ Strip Softbox (x2) + Grid (left side)
3) 1x4’ Strip Softbox (x2) + Grid (right side)
4) D2 with no modifier as background light (one of my favorite techniques for getting a gradient on the background)
