Building, trying and explaining several DIY phase rotation tester circuits, including the schematics. These can indicate the sequence of the 3 phases of a three-phase system. They are especially useful when connecting three-phase induction motors (if the sequence is wrong, the motor turns backwards). WARNING! The devices operate with a hazardous voltage! Risk of electric shock or burns. You do everything at your own risk and responsibility.
