So seemingly, once in a blue moon, a bad guy will defect to your side and help you. There doesn't seem to be any warning or trigger, they just run up to you, don't attack, then just follow you around and help you attack other enemies. This clip is one of only a handful of times this has happened to me (might actually have been the only time, come to think of it).
Glitch? Easter egg? Your guess is as good as mine.
