Mardi Gras is New Orleans biggest party of the year, and we were glad to be a part of it! We stayed in NOLA for 4 days, and partied most of the time :) .
Of course, we've been traveling with our 6 month old daughter (total angel) and so we were curious if Mardi Gras would be family friendly. Much to our surprise, we didn't feel out of place with our child. There were many other families around; in fact many of the people partying were very happy to see our daughter! Baby Jean collected more than a few beads. She was a bit of a star.
We decided to stroll down Bourbon Street after the sun went down... just to check if it was still a 'family friendly' atmosphere. To be clear: it looks like a great place to party...! BUT, maybe not with an infant. So, we decided to go home.
