My wife and I are driving to every Cowboys game this year, for the NFL 2025 season. Our intention is to drive to a playoff game in January, although it's looking less and less likely.
In week 9 of NFL action, the Dallas Cowboys faced the Arizona Cardinals and got absolutely smoked. We looked bad. We are now 3-5-1. We are going to be atleast 8-8-1 to make the playoffs, and probably that won't do it.
Our winning streak must start ASAP.
How does a team with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, AND George Pickens only win 3 out of 9 games? Well, for one our defense is atrocious. We have a bad roster, a scheme that doens't fit our roster, and a bunch of injuries to boot. We really stink.
Trevon Diggs is MIA after a concussion at his home.
Daron Bland looked awful today-- he got juked so bad he tripped over his own feet on a Marvin Harrison JR touchdown.
Osa Odigizuwa has been mostly a non-factor. Dante Fowler has been straight up invisible.
Our defense today made Jacoby Brissett look like an all-pro.
Next week, we have a bye, and then we're off to Vegas to play the Raiders. We need Demarvion Overshown to put a cape on and be superman, and straight up save this team.
P.S I am expecting to be underwhelmed tomorrow. Jerry Jones is talking about some trade he might make, sort of teasing us. My guess it isn't the big name players we all want/need.
