Okay so I'm actually doing this I guess??
PEC aka Pride Editing Challenge because June is pride month aaaand since I'm more or less free this month I decided to try the editing challenge again! So I thought why not combine both things?
I will suffer a lot with this, but it's totally worth it so pray for my sanity!
Day 1: Gay Pride
Pick a song you love.
You would think this would be two easy prompts to fulfill, bUT YOU'RE ALL WRONG I LITERALLY HAD TO CHANGE MY SONG FOUR TIMES BECAUSE I COULDN'T HANDLE ANY OF THEM GDI.
But yeah it's done now and I'm hoping the next days will be easier. I plan on trying to include the flag colours in this, but the rainbow flag is too intense to use so guess we'll just have this overlay thing?
Well whatever, it makes my soft boys even more soft!!

Now that I think about it, I dont keep up with people. I dont really hold onto relationships and that might make me cold-hearted.
(contains spoilers for episode 10 of Adachi to Shimamura)
Does something classify as a vent edit, even if it was made almost 24 hours after feeling vent-y? Who knows!! But thats basically what it is. Deteriorating mental health go brr, but I think were all feeling it with lockdown and the stress of everything else piling up.
I was thinking about this project idea last night too and I still felt like doing it now, so that must count for something. The way I feel about Shimamura is really complex honestly, because I FEEL her, but at the same time I dont? I suppose the best way to put it is that we share similar struggles with similar consequences, yet different reasons for those things. I dont really agree with her attitude, but some of her flaws were uncomfortably familiar... Its something Ive felt insecure about for a while too, so seeing it presented on screen even to some extend was an interesting experience.
Other than me being edgy, I really like how this turned out despite the easy-going raw. ngl most of it gets carried by the song because Im in love with it sdgjsjdghsdkg but yeah, lesbian rights!!

This is kinda bad but Im on time and thats really what matters with my track record...
But the most important thing is wishing Amber a happy birthday!! Youre so sweet and energetic and lovely and I would trust you with my life ♥ I never thought I would grow so attached to you (both play-style wise and in general), but when I was a baby player I hit a point where I was like screw it, I want to learn how to aim a bow and that was the beginning of the end. Being an Amber main isnt most peoples goal, but by god, someone has to do it and I shall.
I love going pew pew with her so much and I wouldnt trade my level 90 Amber for any, and I truly mean ANY, 5* in the game if offered. She is in my pocket where she belongs for all the other players benching her :) I will not put this game down until she is as amazing as I can get her as a mostly f2p player. -squints at my artifacts drops-

*sweats nervously* okay so as everyone can probably see this is a rushed 2 hour edit because Im terrible at time management and I got home kinda late, but I just had to something for this special day!!
Again happy birthday same soul even though the day is pretty much over now :)) I just love you so much and you video for me made me so happy so I really wanted to return the favor even though you said its alright if I dont.
Its definitely not my proudest edit, but it was kinda cathartic to make something without sweating too much about making it complex and just doing something simple and atmospheric again. I really hope you like it too even though its so simple and rushed! You deserve so much better, you deserve the world actually, but this is all I can give for now.
