There is a serious difference between biblical generosity and using spiritual language to pressure people into giving. When prophecy becomes constantly connected to money, seed offerings, sudden financial miracles, and promises of increase, believers should slow down and test what is being said against Scripture.
Giving should never be driven by fear, desperation, public pressure, embarrassment, or the suggestion that someone’s blessing is dependent upon how much money they place in an offering. God is not a slot machine, and the church should not become a place where vulnerable people are manipulated through promises of wealth and financial deliverance.
