This is the partial (non-totality) solar eclipse of April 8th, 2024 from the vantage point of Fredericksburg, VA. The video is sped up 10x (and with YouTube's speed controls can be sped up more or slowed down). The moon passes in front of the sun from the lower-right corner and works it's way approximately 80% over creating a sun crescent at its peak as the sun moves toward the west. Cloud cover eventually came in right at the end of the eclipse.
