. This is an unboxing of the Brother HL-5450DN Laser Printer. This unit has a maximum print speed of 40 pages per minute (ppm) and a 250-sheet paper tray which can be expanded with another 500-sheet optional tray.
The D & N on it's model name indicate that it has duplexing (two-sided) printing capabilities and Ethernet (wired) networking.
64MB of memroy are standard which can be upgraded to 384MB if the printer is used in an environment with a lot of continuous print jobs.
A 3,500 page toner cartridge is included but you can buy a 8,000 page high-yield toner if you want to go longer between cartridges.
A 50-sheet special paper tray is on the front and can be accessed by folding down the front cover. If you don't want the paper coming out the top, you can eject it out the back of the printer at the rear.
The printer is monochrome (black and white) and can be noisy for those who don't like loud fans (for cooling purposes as laser printers rely on heat). _
