This was a very nice clock that needed extra deep cleaning, so I took the case apart and tried new things to get the white fog off the black paint or plastic of that time. The next video will show the movement getting broke down and a couple of bushings replaced.

Seth is a great channel with history behind the clocks and watches. He may not work on the clocks, but is like a History Channel. He also goes to clock meets and interviews the different Booths there to learn even more about the clocks.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
