Guam’s had a history of parkour, and our natural environments and manmade surroundings make for challenging obstacles just waiting to be discovered and conquered. And with both Rai Flores and Deren Perez doing their thing in Season 18 of American Ninja Warrior this year, the Guam Gymnastics Federation reached out and setup a visit from Jumpei Yakuwa, a Japanese parkour coach and judge to hold a clinic on the technique behind the event.
The goal is to send Team Guam to the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane, Australia, so watch out for us!
