I had asked my tour company in Egypt if I could visit a place where they make and sell papyrus. They brought me to the 3 Pyramids Papyrus Institute in Giza, near the Pyramids. I enjoyed the short demonstration on how they make papyrus and the soft sales pitch by Islam (yes, that's his name). I bought papyrus art that featured an ancient Egyptian story.
