Hoover Dam, located in Boulder City, Nevada, was constructed from 1931-1936, and is one of the manmade wonders of the world. It's only a 40-minute drive from Las Vegas. There are actually two highlights at Hoover Dam. One is the dam itself, and the other is the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, the second highest bridge in the U.S., which gives you the best view of the dam. In this video, as we drive over the dam, I give you the history of the dam, why it was built, how it was built, and how to get tickets for the three dam tours that are available.
