With the help of senior aquarist Lindsay (and plenty of snacks), Myrtle, our green sea turtle, creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces—without even realizing it!
Our Animal Care team helps Myrtle channel her inner artist by setting up a special feeding station with a canvas and paintbrush. As she interacts with the apparatus to reach her treats, the brush moves across the canvas, turning snack time into art time! Enrichment activities like this keep Myrtle engaged, encourage problem-solving, and strengthen her bond with our aquarists.
