What's it like to admit a sea turtle at our Sea Turtle Hospital? 🐢✨

Join senior biologist Kristen as she walks us through the intake process, including how we gradually acclimate cold-stunned turtles to warmer water to safely raise their body temperature. She also shares how we carefully monitor their swimming and ensure they can swim, dive, and use their flippers properly.

As of today, we've cared for nearly 500 sea turtles at our hospital this season! Stay tuned for more updates from the 2024-2025 cold stun season.
