Pac-Guy: Resurrection is probably what you'd expect, an improvement of the original Pac-Guy game! With new graphics, and one new level, which is the battle with Kan! Though really, that's pretty much about it, as it's really just the same as the original Pac-Guy, just with improved graphics and a new final level. The music and sound effects are the same as the original, but of course, the final level uses The Decisive Battle music from Final Fantasy 6 (or Final Fantasy 3 for American SNES players), which is honestly really fitting for a final level theme, and an awesome choice for a MIDI rendition even if it's stolen like pretty much all the music in this game.
But how are the improved graphics? Well, honestly, not a lot has been changed, but I do prefer Pac-Guy's appearance in this one, especially since it's more iconic I guess. Though, it does make the cutscenes look better, particularly the ones where Pac-Guy goes to space. But yeah, I don't have much to say that's already been said on the original Pac-Guy longplay's description. It's just Pac-Guy, but less crappy, and I still unironically enjoy it.
