I have turned down a inumerable amount of sponsors for this channel because Ive been less than excited about interrupting a playlist of my music or just breaking up the intended vibe of a video at all, but when I was reached out about this one, I definitely had to reconsider since Im such a fan of the game. Genshin was far from the game I expected to hit my list of best games of 2020 but I still play to this day and have progressed insanely slow since Ive been in love with just doing the side quests and daily missions so much. I was not a Gamecube Kid ™ unfortunately so I never got to play this one even though Im such an avid fan of Super Mario 64. I always wanted to but by the time I got my hands on a Wii, it was already too late and so many new games I wanted to tackle. Thats the main reason I was so excited for the 3D All Stars pack to come out. Finally I could dive into this main series Mario that Ive neglected for so long.
This is a song I actually covered when I was in school, its techinically one of the only jazz performances Ive done as we arranged this like a standard and did solos and the whole deal. Its somewhere on YouTube still but I was really nervous and didnt tune my guitar for it and it ended up sounding horrible on my end. Hope Im making up for it here!
Its been tricky mixing lately now that Im using a calibrated mixing set up for my speakers as once the mix reaches Premiere, it sounds totally different from how I mixed it, but hopefully it means itll be a better mix to your ears! Let me know what you thought of this one! Til next time!

I like to think that all the people who commented Now Jules has to hold Adriana with one hand and play guitar with the other didnt actually expect me to do it.
When recording this, I actually did an entire run of is with picked notes because I kept thinking that there HAS to be some point later on that makes playing it all in legato would be impossible, but as it turned out, it wasnt and I realized that I was committing to the bit. We had a lot of fun with trying to figure out how to pull off the visual aspect of this cover so I hope you guys appreciate the effort put into it!
Jack has been wearing a motorcycle helmet for these which mutes out all of the noise around him so we were both in a very interesting filming set up for this one. Its been really fun banging out the week 7 songs for you guys and I hope you enjoyed how we chose to take them on! Thanks for watching!

Silver Snow was the second route I did after Crimson Flower. I had saved right before th emain decision out of luck and was happy I could take this route. It still blows my mind how anyone could go through any story for the first time and come to the conclusion that it was the right one and theres no way the others could have been better. Its really a showcase of the excellent writing. That being said, Silver Snow definitely felt like as canon an ending it we were going to get since it answered most of the questions still left over from some of the other endings.
Anyway, this song was really tough and super intense to put together. I had help from Jester Musician on the transcription since this was a very notably busy week for me and I almost didnt get this done in time for todays release. Not only is the song in varying subdivisions of 12/8 throughout, the chords are THICC and the leads are complicated and fast. Definitely feels like the most difficult average across all stages of the process and performance. This is one I dont imagine the majority of people will watch, but it was clear in the comments of all the other covers that this was the one to hit up next. I hope you enjoy it!
Also, I still think Edelgard did nothing wrong.
