This is a model from 2014 that I always held off on revealing, but since I don't know when I'll get to use it for anything, here it is, after all this time.
Like the Lehvak-Kal from youtu.be/Ht11hNnNfcM, this too was based off a redesign I once drew up for the six Kal, where I ditched their official designs and just went crazy with them to make them stand out from the regular Bohrok. I tried to imagine what they'd look in the style of the old Miramax movies... just overdone to an extreme degree with all sorts of minor features the canon Kal do not have.
Back then, this was my most elaborate Blender model by far, but it always looked tacky. I didn't quite manage to keep it accurate to my concept drawing, and in particular the oversized eyes, spindly neck and curvature of the jaw make it look more comic than fearsome. Also looks like it's got little squirrel ears from some angles. The idea didn't translate too well to 3D.
