I originally made these Bagan models back in March 2021, to be used for a fighting animation, eventually. (I just got too sidetracked making low effort shitpost vids.) They are based on official but unused concept designs, created by artists Yasushi Nirasawa and Shinji Nishikawa.
I tried to follow the original artwork as closely as possible in my simplified modeling style, with the only slight alteration being the wing attachment of Bagan's red-black form. The wings are able to connect to Bagan's arms similarly (but not exactly) to how they are depicted on official concept art, but they've been kept separate for this test animation to make the transformation effect between the two forms simpler and smoother.
The energy shooting effect of Bagan's armored form is not satisfactory but it's the best I could come up with for now. Better results could be achieved by combining different effects and carefully chosen camera angles.
