If you spawn in an area when Death Hole is active, the game will be in "cutscene state" for a couple of seconds: moving the control stick does nothing unless you're targeting, magic doesn't work properly and, most importantly, loading zones are disabled.

Exploiting this last property, Void Warp becomes very easy in Death Hole: simply backflip into a loading zone immediately after spawning, use Farore's Wind, press B to auto-complete the text box and select return when the loading zone activates (as soon as the screen starts fading out, it's very lenient).

This type of Void Warp will spawn you in the area the loading zone normally takes you to (when Wrong Warping), but with the coordinates and room number of the FW warp point.

In this video, I show an example of this. In DH entering the market coming from Ganon's Castle spawns you as if you entered from Temple of Time. After setting FW in the market (room 00 and close enough to the 0,0,0 coordinates) I die in order to respawn near the loading zone with the brief cutscene state active. I then backflip twice and use FW: the loading zone wrong warps to Fire Temple
but the coordinates are taken from FW.

However, the best way to use this technique is with grotto exits. I'll explain those in the second part (youtu.be/-pc3CGW0FEs)
