In this AU Oliver and Patch are soulmates (it's up to you if they're friends or share their first love).
But one day Oliver tells Patch he probably can't come visit him anymore, it's getting hard to hide everything to his masters (in this AU his human is not Jenny).
Patch diesn't understand, he replies "I need you" and late at night he rememberes this conversation, remembers the happy times he and Oliver had.
Next morning he wakes up when all other puppies are away for a morning scroll, Perdita and Pongo know that Patch is used to sleep longer and usually they don't wake him up.
Suddenly Patch sees Oliver on the piano, turning the pages and playing. Patch can't believe it and Oliver says he wouldn't be the same without Patch, so no matter how hard it could get, Oliver would do anything to be with Patch.
They sneak out and get to the city streets. Oliver notices a strange glowing object, there are lightnings, rainbow and cacti nearby. Oliver and Patch are excited to examine it, the object turns out to be a portal that tranports them into a winter wonderland with an old castle nearby. What could it be?
