This AU is very close to canon, here Ronno came back after Faline left with her mother. Ronno wanted to express Faline and Bambi even more, but he found only Bambi, alone and sad.
Seeing Bambi like that shocked Ronno, he knew that feeling, he often felt like this too when he was alone. Also Ronno realized there is probably no one to take Bambi home. The snowstorm started.
Ronno remembered how rude he was to Bambi, how he wanted to look tough in front of those two new deer his age, how he thought Bambi was mocking him and realised Bambi wasn't, he really believed Ronno.
Ronno's father was killed by humans, Ronno never really talked about it, always wishing to look cool and pretending to be a hero, wishing to be there to save his dad, back then in the past.
The snowstorm got stronger, unseen to Bambi, Ronno cried. He thought his mother would find him soon, so while there still was time Ronno apologised to Bambi for attacking him.
Bambi smiled, he knew Ronno was here all the time, at first it made him uneasy, but Ronno didn't do anything rude like before and Bambi didn't mind his company, he was glad not to be all alone in this storm.
