When I first started learning bushcraft skills 7 years ago, all I could afford was the $13 Old Hickory Butcher Knife. I’ve really put it through a lot of torcher over the years from whittling, Casting Sparks off the spine, batoning, etc.
Though well worn... she can still get the job done!... with feather-sticking and scraping showers of sparks off of the ferro rod!
