When the Green Tree Frogs start their mating season, it heralds the start of Spring here on the island. All manner of predators emerge from the jungles to feast on the otherwise distracted amphibians. These are my encounters from a recent night walk around a green area of Yomitan, the district where I live in the Southern regions of Okinawa.
Rather than heading way north for a long drive to possibly getting skunked I stayed closer to home, and what an incredible night it was.
